Effective MLM Sponsoring

November 30th, 2008 by admin | 2 Comments | Filed in Lead Generation

Effective MLM Sponsoring can be a daunting task. Some Network Marketing hopefuls struggle to find a strategy that is proven to not only bring in site visitors, tour takers or trial members but effective enough to actually find people who are serious about moving on and building an organization.

We do not have to search very far to find a wide array of MLM Marketing Strategies. One strategy that is very effective, is to sponsor people who are already involved in the industry. This business building strategy often involves a marketing effort that drives traffic to a Marketing System designed to promote yourself as an experienced, professional Network Marketer.

Once you are recognized as an industry leader, you will begin to develop relationships with those who use your system. As a result, some of your subscribers will come to respect you and develop a desire to work with you directly. Other subscribers may come to the realization that the MLM Company they joined does not satisfy them for one reason or another. There may also be some subscribers who belonged to an MLM Company that went out of business and they are looking to team up with someone they trust. That someone could be you!

Just like any other strategy, there are positives and negatives. The time you spend building your reputation to generate subscribers will be time that you will not be promoting your business. Getting people to join your primary business will have to become a long term strategy. You will not build much of a reputation if you start pounding your subscribers over the head with your opportunity right away. The challenge becomes: ‘How Do I Justify The Time And Energy Spent Helping People Build Their Business If I Am Not Building My Business?’

The solution is to have a system that generates cash up-front, even if your subscribers don’t want to join your Opportunity. This is commonly refered to as a Funded Proposal. This is the most common business model of a 3 Step Funded Proposal:

  1. Offer A Free (or cheap) Report - The report offers an overview of how your system works
  2. Offer A Cheap E-Book - The e-book is a fully detailed explanation of the system
  3. Offer A Monthly Membership - The membership includes tools and features to make it all work

The whole system can really take off if it comes with an affiliate program. That way, the members you bring in will be able to expand your system for you. As the system proves helpful to their own efforts, they will be eager to bring their associates into the system. This creates a viral effect that expands the system without any effort on your part.

Doesn’t all this sound as though it would be just as difficult as promoting your own business in the first place? It sure did to me. There is good news. Mark Wieser has ceated such a system called Sure Fire Sponsoring

Like most aspiring Network Marketers, Mark struggled with traditional business building strategies. Originally Mark created his system to build his own Networking business. Eventually, word got out about his success. Everyone wanted to know how, all of a sudden, his organization started growing at a phenominal rate. He finally had to spill the beans.

Mark set about creating a system that allowed people to easily duplicate his efforts. Not only people from the company he was with, but people from any sort of MLM program. The whole Sure Fire Sponsoring system is designed to attract the ‘right kind’ of Networkers - experienced Networkers who already understand the business and fully appreciate what Network Marketing has to offer.

What Drives You?

September 1st, 2008 by admin | No Comments | Filed in Attitude

As I drive down the highway in my expediter truck, I cannot help but take notice of all the different vehicles people drive. Have you ever really taken the time to think about what motivates people to choose the vehicle they have?

You see the people with those tiny ‘eco’ cars. You know that they are trying to do their part to help the environment. But you, on the other hand, may not be willing to sacrifice your own safety to that level. Or, maybe your lifestyle does not allow you to consider a vehicle that small.

Then there are the commercial vehicles. All sorts of sizes and variations. Some are intended for specialized purposes like logging, towing, livestock, sanitation and hauling liquids. Then others serve more general needs like flatbeds and cargo vans. But, I didn’t sit down today to find out about what you drive. What I am really interested in is…

What Drives You?

If you are attempting to build your own web-based or home-based business for the first time or, maybe you have been struggling for quite some time and cannot figure out why things just don’t seem to be coming together, you need to be clear about what drives you.

We are driven by our motivations and aspirations. Sometimes our motivation is something that we are running from (fear), like being able to quit our job or pay off debts. Other times our motivations are something we are running to (hope), like leaving a legacy, being financially independent or time freedom.

Generally speaking, achieving a hopeful goal will be more fulfilling in the long term. Accomplishing a fearful goal will make you happy at that moment in time but, sooner or later, the fear becomes a distant memory and the motivation loses it’s luster. Quite often it is fear that motivates us to consider change, and the hope is what ultimately pulls us through.

Are you involved in a program where you have a sponsor or mentor? It is important to let that person know what your motivations are. But first, you want to make absolutely sure that you have a clear definition of what drives you. Nothing is worse than having conflicting objectives. For example…

You recently joined a great Network Marketing Business and you think their products are great. The networking side is interesting but you see it simply as a way to make enough money to get your products for free. As time goes by, your sponsor keeps hounding you to buy more leads, call more prospects and get more training. He is a ‘Heavy Hitter’ and does not understand why your business is growing so slowly. The frustration builds on both sides and the relationship is strained.

This situation could easily be avoided by simply being honest with each other right from the beginning. If your sponsor does not know how to help you, they should be able to direct you to someone in your upline who can. Contact your sponsor as early as possible and let them know exactly what you hope to accomplish. Ultimately everyone is more happy and productive.

Another important reason to know what drives you is to help you through the rough times. No matter how great your opportunity is, there will be challenges along the way. Many people give up on their new venture way too early. As soon as a few struggles rear their ugly heads, many aspiring networkers will run for the hills. If your desire to fulfill your goals is not strong, it becomes easier to bail out rather than fight on.

Some call it Dreaming. Some call it Goal Setting. Either way, knowing what drives you will help you travel the road to success.

Rush Hour Traffic

August 4th, 2008 by admin | No Comments | Filed in Marketing

Driving through rush hour traffic can be such a pain! The biggest part of the ‘pain’ is simply the fact that you have to be in the rush hour traffic in the first place.

As I trudged through my rush hour ritual I could not help but think about how awesome it would be to have that kind of massive traffic going to my website. You have to admit, that would be awesome wouldn’t it?! There is one way you can get massive traffic to your site without spending a fortune.

Have you ever tried using Traffic Exchanges to get visitors to your site?

Many people will tell you that Traffic Exchanges are a waste of time. Not so, my friend. The fact is, many successful marketers not only recommend these free exchanges but they use these services themselves. They are able to build a marketing machine by referring other marketers to the exchanges and earning a percentage of the traffic that their referrals generate.

Most people who venture into Traffic Exchange marketing do so because they want to promote their own site, an affiliate program or their Network Marketing (MLM) business. They feel that spending time promoting their Exchanges to build downlines is a waste of time because it takes time away from their primary program - and they are right. But, I did discover a ‘not so’ secret strategy that will allow you to promote your site or program AND build downlines in the exchanges at the same time.

Currently I earn hundreds of hits to my site every day - even when I don’t have time to surf myself. All because I found a way to get referrals to the best-of-the-best Traffic Exchanges without ever promoting the Exchanges myself. Have you ever heard of TrafficHoopla?

Most people familiar with TrafficHoopla think it is just a downline builder. What appeals most to me is the fact that TrafficHoopla is actually a Traffic Exchange Tester. They actually test dozens of the most popular Traffic Exchanges (and SafeLists) and deliver the results weekly. They are unbiased in their reporting. If an exchange does not pull it’s weight, it will be dropped like a hot potato.

Because of their Testing, Tracking and Reporting you can have confidence in knowing that you are using (and recommending) the most effective Exchanges available. David Carr, TrafficHoopla’s creator, developed this system to build his own Traffic Exchange Marketing Machine. So what is the ’secret’ that helped me….

After studying the TrafficHoopla members area, it seemed that I had to choose between promoting my business OR building traffic. Then I discovered TrafficHoopla’s affiliate rotator co-op. At only $15 per share it is quite a deal.

The company will promote your TrafficHoopla link for you at least 2000 times AND Guarantee you five new members. You can only purchase two shares at a time on a monthly subscription but you can purchase more subscriptions if you like. Each new TrafficHoopla associate could ultimately join all 20 of the recommended exchanges and promote the system themselves.

If you really think about it, this is a much better long term strategy than upgrading at the individual Traffic Exchanges. Each free exchange also offers upgraded memberships ranging in price from $5 to $20 per month. Upgrading in a half dozen or more will set you back $30 to $120 per month. The upgrades often include some traffic credits but not nearly as much as you could earn for free by building your downlines.

For more info about how you can create your own Rush Hour Traffic System visit TrafficHoopla Today. The TrafficHoopla system is free, the affiliate rotator co-op is optional.

NOTE: In order to honor the Guarantee, TrafficHoopla limits the number of co-op shares available. Get yours while you still can.

Networking is a Great Big Frienship Festival

“To A Friends House
The Road Is Never Long”

- Dutch Proverb

A few days ago I celebrated Canada Day by driving down the highway to pop in at The Friendship Festival in Fort Erie. Patty (my wife) and I went to her sister’s house because they have an awesome view of the fireworks from their back yard. Yes, they were quite impressive again this year.

The Friendship Festival’s roots began in the late 70’s as an “I Survived The Blizzard of 1977″ celebration. It actually started out as an event to commemorate that eventful time. The international get-together was brought about by students of Fort Erie Secondary School (Ontario side) and Lafayette High School (New York State side).

As you travel down your road to success, create your own Networking Friendship Festival. Invite anyone and everyone. Tell them they can ‘Come-As-You-Are’ whenever they are ready. Before you know it, you could be travelling the world to visit all your associates. Of course it could be a tax deductible expense if you organize it properly. And you would not even have to worry about when you get back!

Eventually, the Festival outgrew the high school theme and was ultimately replaced by further reaching theme. Now the Friendship Festival represents the long-standing peaceful and friendly relationship between the United States and Canada. It also celebrates the Freedom and Independence the people of both countries enjoy. Currently the Festival annually covers a seven to ten day period to include events surrounding Canada Day (July 1st) and Independence Day (July 4th).

I know first hand just how friendly the relations can get between the two Nations. My mother was born and raised in Buffalo, New York and my father grew up right across the border in Fort Erie, Ontario. They had friendly relations at least three times that I know of - I have two sisters.

Because of my Parental International Relations I have always been able to personally celebrate both Canada Day here at home and Independence Day with my family and friends State-side. Even though I am officially Canadian, I have never really considered myself to be any more Canadian than American. As a full-time truck driver I spend a good portion of time in both countries.

The time we spent at the Festival got me to thinking about how our Networking Business can bring people together. It does not matter where we live or how we live. What does matter is that we share common ground. We all have dreams for a better future. We all want security for our family. We all want to live life on our own terms. It is these common ties that allow us to come together for the greater good - despite whatever differences we may have. Any way, as far as I am concerned, the differences should be celebrated just as much.

My Top Recommendation:
If you are building a Networking Business (MLM), don’t get so hung up on trying to make people do it your way. Everyone is going to have their own pace, their own way of looking at their business, their own idea of what ’success’ is and their own idea of what their business should provide for them.

Let Freedom (and Friendship) Reign.
