Funded Proposal That Works

January 26th, 2009 by admin | No Comments | Filed in Marketing

The funded proposal idea always confused me. If it really works so good, how will it generate the quality leads like they say it does.

Let’s back up a minute. What is a Funded Proposal anyway?

Simply put, a Funded Proposal is a way to make money from your marketing tools and resources which allows you to generate endless funds for marketing your MLM Business. Usually a generic system is set up to generate leads and traffic. Then the system is marketed to people interested in building a downline in their MLM Business. The ultimate goal is to build a list of experienced MLM marketers with the idea that they will ultimately see you as a leader or mentor. As you gain their confidence, they may consider joining your business - which leads me to the confusing part.

Either your marketing system works or it does not. If it does work, your subscriber is going to start seeing success in their existing business. If it does not work, and your subscriber does not see success in their existing business, then how are you going to gain their confidence? Either way, it would seem to me that it would be terribly difficult to generate leads for your own business this way.

Maybe their is another way to look at it. If your system does work and you generate income from it, you can turn around and use those funds to market your business directly (i.e. buying leads, traffic, solo-ads, etc.). The fact is that you are still going to have to market your system. So, why not just market your business in the first place? As your group grows, you can run an advertising co-op and get the same result.

After pretty much giving up on the idea of Funded Proposals I came across the Traffic Exchange Profits Report. Because I was already using Traffic Exchanges this system seemed to make much more sense. Now, instead of teaching people how to build an MLM business, the system teaches people how to generate profits from using Traffic Exchanges. In the process they also learn how to surf more effectively - creating more traffic, leads and profits!

Many Funded Proposals encourage you to over-extend yourself by recommending several ‘essential’ tools and resources. The recommended services are presented in such a way that you feel compelled to use all of them or the system will not work. However, the Traffic Exchange Profits Report is actually designed specifically for the low budget marketer.

The report goes to great length in explaining how you can create multiple streams of income without setting up multiple streams of expenses. The whole system can be started for a one-time-only five dollar investment. From there you use free and low cost marketing tools. As your profits grow, you can upgrade in a few (or as many) tools as your resources allow.

For a more sensible approach to building an online business with a Funded Proposal that works, I highly recommend you check out the Traffic Exchange Profits Report today.

Here Is A Powerful Traffic Exchange Strategy

September 1st, 2008 by admin | 3 Comments | Filed in Marketing

As I work toward building my Home Based Business it amazes me just how many methods there are to advertise online. For each and every one of us who is just starting a new opportunity, there is only so much paid advertising we can do. It does not take long to start investigating the benefits of free advertising to supplement our efforts.

One of the first free advertising methods I discovered was Traffic Exchanges. Essentially, you join a Traffic Exchange as a free member and you agree to view the websites of other internet marketers to earn credits. The credits you earn can be applied to a website of your choosing and the other internet marketers agree to view your site. And so the cycle goes.

As a free member you may have to surf 2 or 3 other sites in order to have your site viewed once. Each Traffic Exchange offers upgrade options that allow you to improve your surf/view ratio. Ideally you like to get a 1-to-1 ratio. In other words, each time you view a site someone else will view your site. An upgraded membership will generally include other perks like Banner Ad Impressions, Text Ad Impression, Random Referrals and (sometimes) cash commissions.

One strategy I implemented was to upgrade only int Traffic Exchanges that offered Random Referrals and Cash Commissions. I felt that this option gave me the best opportunity to recoup my investment and the Random Referrals would help me earn residual traffic credits.

One day I was logged into one of my favourite Traffic Exchanges, WebBizInsider. As I was attempting to send an email to my downline, I found myself thinking about how disjointed my marketing is. There are several Traffic Exchanges that I belong to. I also have a few favourite places to send out Solo Ads and Ezine Ads. Then I also have my favourite Lead Source. It sure would be nice if I could have a strategy that would make these resources work together. Then I had one of those “A-Haaah!” Moments.

In the WebBizInsider Member’s Area there is an option where you can “Purchase Downline” to build residual traffic (you earn 10% of the traffic that your group earns). There are 4 different packages available and the two largest ones include Upgraded Membership. I have taken advantage of the Purchase Downline option a couple of times and found it to be very beneficial. The Upgrade gives me a 1-to-1 surf ratio and allows me to email my referrals (all 6 levels) on a weekly basis.

It finally dawned on me that I could

  1. Drive Traffic Directly To My Site
  2. Build Residual Traffic
  3. Purchase Leads
  4. Send Solo Ads Weekly

…and I could do all this with just ONE Purchase!

Before, I would do all four of these activities from four different sources - and spend a lot more money. Plus, if I got a poor response from my purchased leads or my solo ad, it would not help me with my other marketing efforts. Now, if I send out a solo ad to my WebBizInsider List, I would atleast continue to receive residual traffic even if the Downline I purchased did not join my Primary Business or accept my other offers.

Obviously this is not the Be-All-To-End-All solution to all your marketing efforts. But, for those of us just starting out, it can be an excellent way to Muti-Task your efforts and keep your costs down.
