The Secret To MLM Success

This secret really depends how your compensation plan works. The company I am with has a 2×12 Forced Matrix so my ‘Secret’ works perfectly in this case. Truth be told, it is not much of a secret at all. The thing is, as obvious as this is, it amazes me how few people actually do it.

The bottom line is this…

You will not be able to sustain any measure of success in MLM unless you have people in your downline who are also succeeding.

It is very common to find people who are looking for some magic system that allows them to refer dozens of personally sponsored associates. This rarely works. Even when it does work, the method is so expensive that it is amost impossible to duplicate.

The true secret to success, in my humble opinion, is to simply find just two or three people who are willing to work and/or invest in their own success then concentrate all your efforts on helping those few people build their own businesses.

The sooner you take your eyes off yourself and focus on your team, the sooner you will find the success you desire. Be sure to teach what you are doing to your group. Also, keep repeating this process until your business is at least six levels deep. Then you will have a profitable business and, before you know it, one that grows on it’s own.

If you were to visit my site at www.MyBerryAdvantage.com or my blog at www.MyBerryAdvantage.com/blog (and on this blog as well) you will find several links pointing to The Berry Tree… not a single one of those links is pointing to my site. They all point to my associates links by using a rotator. Since I already have a few associates who are serious about their success there is no need to promote my link. I already have a very high commitment level. At this point, it is more important to me that I help raise their commitment level. The best way to do that is to concentrate my efforts on their success

Just think, if you were in my group, I could be advertising for you right now!

The Berry Tree is not satisfied with relying solely on the internet to expand the business. The company is about to go into the recording studio to produce a 30 minute infomercial. With the extremely affordable co-op, we can all benfit from this new exposure.

The infomercial is expected to air in early to mid February and will be broadcast throughout the USA. Those who join now will be in a tremendously advantageous position. You can join our team, and be ahead of the curve, by visiting www.MyBerryAdvantage.com

What Drives You?

September 1st, 2008 by admin | No Comments | Filed in Attitude

As I drive down the highway in my expediter truck, I cannot help but take notice of all the different vehicles people drive. Have you ever really taken the time to think about what motivates people to choose the vehicle they have?

You see the people with those tiny ‘eco’ cars. You know that they are trying to do their part to help the environment. But you, on the other hand, may not be willing to sacrifice your own safety to that level. Or, maybe your lifestyle does not allow you to consider a vehicle that small.

Then there are the commercial vehicles. All sorts of sizes and variations. Some are intended for specialized purposes like logging, towing, livestock, sanitation and hauling liquids. Then others serve more general needs like flatbeds and cargo vans. But, I didn’t sit down today to find out about what you drive. What I am really interested in is…

What Drives You?

If you are attempting to build your own web-based or home-based business for the first time or, maybe you have been struggling for quite some time and cannot figure out why things just don’t seem to be coming together, you need to be clear about what drives you.

We are driven by our motivations and aspirations. Sometimes our motivation is something that we are running from (fear), like being able to quit our job or pay off debts. Other times our motivations are something we are running to (hope), like leaving a legacy, being financially independent or time freedom.

Generally speaking, achieving a hopeful goal will be more fulfilling in the long term. Accomplishing a fearful goal will make you happy at that moment in time but, sooner or later, the fear becomes a distant memory and the motivation loses it’s luster. Quite often it is fear that motivates us to consider change, and the hope is what ultimately pulls us through.

Are you involved in a program where you have a sponsor or mentor? It is important to let that person know what your motivations are. But first, you want to make absolutely sure that you have a clear definition of what drives you. Nothing is worse than having conflicting objectives. For example…

You recently joined a great Network Marketing Business and you think their products are great. The networking side is interesting but you see it simply as a way to make enough money to get your products for free. As time goes by, your sponsor keeps hounding you to buy more leads, call more prospects and get more training. He is a ‘Heavy Hitter’ and does not understand why your business is growing so slowly. The frustration builds on both sides and the relationship is strained.

This situation could easily be avoided by simply being honest with each other right from the beginning. If your sponsor does not know how to help you, they should be able to direct you to someone in your upline who can. Contact your sponsor as early as possible and let them know exactly what you hope to accomplish. Ultimately everyone is more happy and productive.

Another important reason to know what drives you is to help you through the rough times. No matter how great your opportunity is, there will be challenges along the way. Many people give up on their new venture way too early. As soon as a few struggles rear their ugly heads, many aspiring networkers will run for the hills. If your desire to fulfill your goals is not strong, it becomes easier to bail out rather than fight on.

Some call it Dreaming. Some call it Goal Setting. Either way, knowing what drives you will help you travel the road to success.
