Low Cost Leads Equals Duplication

September 28th, 2008 by admin | No Comments | Filed in Lead Generation

Congratulations! You have just signed up your first person into your ground-breaking opportunity!

It took you a little while to convince him or her that starting a business does actually take them spending a little money. So they sucked it up, balanced their checkbook, and came up with the $25-$100 or more to join your company.

After providing you with a few excuses as to why they didn’t want to call their friends and family before they have success first, how easy do you think the next task of telling them they need to spend another $100 - $300 or more for leads will be?

They are out of business before they even start!

The best thing you can do for your business, is have some inexpensive lead options available with a low sticker shock so that your new members will take the next crucial action step, exposing people to their business.

Besides the fact that a new person will need time and practice getting comfortable on the phone, you do not have to be calling $4/lead leads to find good people for your business.

I’m sure you are familiar with the saying, “Make up in numbers, what you lack in skill!” This is critical for your new members to understand, so they do not get frustrated and give themselves the time necessary to succeed.

Find a source of leads where you can get a good balance of quality leads for a good price. Leads that are slightly aged are a fantastic way for both the new members and veterans alike to get practice, sort through larger amounts of prospects and to find those superstars hidden in each lead batch. When your new member is trained properly and has a few hundred calls under his or her belt, then start mixing in the more costly leads.

Do not forget, as your new member gets better on the phone, their leads will magically get better, regardless of the age or quality of the lead.

An Amazingly Simple Way To Generate Free Leads

September 20th, 2008 by admin | No Comments | Filed in Lead Generation

Today, I’m going to share with you a free traffic generation system called LeadsLeap.com.

If you have heard about this service and you have not registered your free account, I suggest that you do it now.

LeadsLeap is an ingenious system that combines the power of contextual advertising and network lead generation.

In this system, you are allowed to post ads to 10 levels of network you have built.

Unlike traditional network lead generation methods, LeadsLeap only allows members to post their ads in the form of contextual ad.

This means your leads do not receive obtrusive ads from their uplines, which is a good thing because no one likes to receive junk ads.

Moreover, LeadsLeap sends very informative and useful newsletters to their members. I’ve saved some of the newsletters for future reference. I’m sure you will benefit from the newsletter too.

This is a free service.

Never waste a dime on junk Internet Marketing products again…

September 20th, 2008 by admin | No Comments | Filed in Marketing

If you’ve ever taken me seriously, you’d better listen up…

One thing that has been hurting Internet marketers like you and me is the number of products available to buy. It’s *impossible* to sort through them all and find the best ones, so we wind up spending our money on a good sales letter, but a crappy product… that is, until now….

*Internet Biz Buzz* just launched. It’s a community of Internet marketers like you sharing their thoughts on all the IM products and services out there. What that means for you is you’ll never have to spend money on a junk product, because now you can learn from other’s experiences first…

Stop investing your money into great sales letters. Head over to Internet Biz Buzz and get the buzz BEFORE you buy.

What Drives You?

September 1st, 2008 by admin | No Comments | Filed in Attitude

As I drive down the highway in my expediter truck, I cannot help but take notice of all the different vehicles people drive. Have you ever really taken the time to think about what motivates people to choose the vehicle they have?

You see the people with those tiny ‘eco’ cars. You know that they are trying to do their part to help the environment. But you, on the other hand, may not be willing to sacrifice your own safety to that level. Or, maybe your lifestyle does not allow you to consider a vehicle that small.

Then there are the commercial vehicles. All sorts of sizes and variations. Some are intended for specialized purposes like logging, towing, livestock, sanitation and hauling liquids. Then others serve more general needs like flatbeds and cargo vans. But, I didn’t sit down today to find out about what you drive. What I am really interested in is…

What Drives You?

If you are attempting to build your own web-based or home-based business for the first time or, maybe you have been struggling for quite some time and cannot figure out why things just don’t seem to be coming together, you need to be clear about what drives you.

We are driven by our motivations and aspirations. Sometimes our motivation is something that we are running from (fear), like being able to quit our job or pay off debts. Other times our motivations are something we are running to (hope), like leaving a legacy, being financially independent or time freedom.

Generally speaking, achieving a hopeful goal will be more fulfilling in the long term. Accomplishing a fearful goal will make you happy at that moment in time but, sooner or later, the fear becomes a distant memory and the motivation loses it’s luster. Quite often it is fear that motivates us to consider change, and the hope is what ultimately pulls us through.

Are you involved in a program where you have a sponsor or mentor? It is important to let that person know what your motivations are. But first, you want to make absolutely sure that you have a clear definition of what drives you. Nothing is worse than having conflicting objectives. For example…

You recently joined a great Network Marketing Business and you think their products are great. The networking side is interesting but you see it simply as a way to make enough money to get your products for free. As time goes by, your sponsor keeps hounding you to buy more leads, call more prospects and get more training. He is a ‘Heavy Hitter’ and does not understand why your business is growing so slowly. The frustration builds on both sides and the relationship is strained.

This situation could easily be avoided by simply being honest with each other right from the beginning. If your sponsor does not know how to help you, they should be able to direct you to someone in your upline who can. Contact your sponsor as early as possible and let them know exactly what you hope to accomplish. Ultimately everyone is more happy and productive.

Another important reason to know what drives you is to help you through the rough times. No matter how great your opportunity is, there will be challenges along the way. Many people give up on their new venture way too early. As soon as a few struggles rear their ugly heads, many aspiring networkers will run for the hills. If your desire to fulfill your goals is not strong, it becomes easier to bail out rather than fight on.

Some call it Dreaming. Some call it Goal Setting. Either way, knowing what drives you will help you travel the road to success.

Here Is A Powerful Traffic Exchange Strategy

September 1st, 2008 by admin | 3 Comments | Filed in Marketing

As I work toward building my Home Based Business it amazes me just how many methods there are to advertise online. For each and every one of us who is just starting a new opportunity, there is only so much paid advertising we can do. It does not take long to start investigating the benefits of free advertising to supplement our efforts.

One of the first free advertising methods I discovered was Traffic Exchanges. Essentially, you join a Traffic Exchange as a free member and you agree to view the websites of other internet marketers to earn credits. The credits you earn can be applied to a website of your choosing and the other internet marketers agree to view your site. And so the cycle goes.

As a free member you may have to surf 2 or 3 other sites in order to have your site viewed once. Each Traffic Exchange offers upgrade options that allow you to improve your surf/view ratio. Ideally you like to get a 1-to-1 ratio. In other words, each time you view a site someone else will view your site. An upgraded membership will generally include other perks like Banner Ad Impressions, Text Ad Impression, Random Referrals and (sometimes) cash commissions.

One strategy I implemented was to upgrade only int Traffic Exchanges that offered Random Referrals and Cash Commissions. I felt that this option gave me the best opportunity to recoup my investment and the Random Referrals would help me earn residual traffic credits.

One day I was logged into one of my favourite Traffic Exchanges, WebBizInsider. As I was attempting to send an email to my downline, I found myself thinking about how disjointed my marketing is. There are several Traffic Exchanges that I belong to. I also have a few favourite places to send out Solo Ads and Ezine Ads. Then I also have my favourite Lead Source. It sure would be nice if I could have a strategy that would make these resources work together. Then I had one of those “A-Haaah!” Moments.

In the WebBizInsider Member’s Area there is an option where you can “Purchase Downline” to build residual traffic (you earn 10% of the traffic that your group earns). There are 4 different packages available and the two largest ones include Upgraded Membership. I have taken advantage of the Purchase Downline option a couple of times and found it to be very beneficial. The Upgrade gives me a 1-to-1 surf ratio and allows me to email my referrals (all 6 levels) on a weekly basis.

It finally dawned on me that I could

  1. Drive Traffic Directly To My Site
  2. Build Residual Traffic
  3. Purchase Leads
  4. Send Solo Ads Weekly

…and I could do all this with just ONE Purchase!

Before, I would do all four of these activities from four different sources - and spend a lot more money. Plus, if I got a poor response from my purchased leads or my solo ad, it would not help me with my other marketing efforts. Now, if I send out a solo ad to my WebBizInsider List, I would atleast continue to receive residual traffic even if the Downline I purchased did not join my Primary Business or accept my other offers.

Obviously this is not the Be-All-To-End-All solution to all your marketing efforts. But, for those of us just starting out, it can be an excellent way to Muti-Task your efforts and keep your costs down.
